Project Brief

With a large detached home in Boughton and ample garden space to work with, our client approached us interested in extending their home. Their vision was to create a spacious open-plan kitchen diner with a utility room by adding an extension to the rear of their home. Aware that they would need the help of architects in Northampton to secure planning permission, they worked with our architectural technicians to submit the necessary documents and gain approval.

  • Location: Boughton, Northamptonshire
  • Property Type: Detached Family Dwelling
  • Project Value: £70k
  • Service(s) Used: Measured survey, planning drawings, planning submission and detailed building control drawings

Our Solution

With an idea in mind of how they wanted their home to look, we started by providing our client with design and layout options. Once we had established which design they wanted to proceed with, we moved into producing detailed drawings for both planning and building control approval. These were submitted by our team, who liaised with local authorities on our client’s behalf and successfully gained all permissions to go ahead with the project.

To ensure that construction ran smoothly, we also created technical drawings for builders to follow on site. As you can see from the before and after photos below, the results of this project are fantastic, and our client can now enjoy many happy years in their dream home.
